I'm actually feeling significantly better on the immunosuppressives. They still wallop my insides about 1 hour after I take them, but I'm already feeling less icky. I feel like a bit of a drug dealer when I take my morning lot of 5 pills, then my afternoon lot of 6 more, then my nighttime 4. Not exactly normal for someone who's all, like, organic hippy lady... but it seems to be doing something, after only one freaking week and at a still lowish dose. Or it could just be the steroids.
I'm waking up with a helluva headache every day, but it does pass, and for about 12 hours a day, I'm hunky dory. Well, mostly hunky dory...and a lot less painkillers, and I can almost exercise again, maybe.
I'm still getting exhausted out of nowhere every few days. Nothing like doing nothing but sitting down and suddenly that is too much to do, and you can't breathe or move or even make it to the sofa, but mostly those only last a couple of hours and then I'm good. It makes having a real life impossible, but it does pass.
